Resistivity Behind Casing
RBC is a tool designed to measure the formation resistivity behind steel casing. This is based on measuring the small leakage current from the casing to the formation when an axial current is induced in the casing. The advantage of this is to provide a good correlation with the original resisitivity that was made in open hole.
Features & Benefits
- Non-alternative determination of current saturation in low-porous reservoirs
- Measurements are independent on fluid properties in the wellbore
- Accurate measurements of the Resistivity in the cased-hole environment
- Good convergence of the results in different well conditions
- Easy to understand and interpret the output curves
